The European Network of Young Gynaecological Oncologists (ENYGO) is an ESGO network for juniors and trainees in gynaecological oncology and related subspecialties.
ENYGO serves as a forum for promoting scientific and social interaction, discussion, debate, exchange of ideas and views. It also serves as an important source of information for opportunities related to training and research in the field of gynaecological oncology.
The ESGO 2021 programme caters for young professionals with the inclusion of the following sessions organised by the ENYGO network:
11:30 – 13:00
The Young Investigators Session is a unique opportunity for young professionals who have exceptional research to present their work at the Congress.
The top young investigators selected from those who submitted work for review will present their research to their peers. Presenters are eligible and may be nominated for the Best Oral and Best Poster awards.
A special workshop on Sexual Rehabilitation for young professionals at the ENYGO lounge.

The purpose of this workshop is to familiarize young trainees with the basic principles of the management of urological and gastrointestinal complications.
The participants will have 90 minutes for the theoretical and practical parts of the seminar. A small presentation of the complications and the surgical repair will be demonstrated during the seminar’s theoretical part.
The trainees will then practise on the porcine specimens. Chairs of the workshop will be on-site to explain and demonstrate the procedure, give step-by-step tips, and answer the participants’ questions.

One of the major gaps of many trainees and faculty in their early careers is the lack of familiarity with details pertaining to the structuring and writing of scientific manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
This session will highlight and summarise the most important and urgent issues discussed during the first online ENYGO-IJGC Scientific Writing and Publication Course that took place March–June 2021.
Rather than a traditional format, this session will be organized like a "Game Show" moderated by Aleksandra Strojna and Kamil Zalewski who will invite the mentors of the course.
This online video session aims to teach fellows and young specialists tips and tricks on how to structure the whole process, how to select the right patients, and how to plan pre-, peri- and postoperative care.
The speakers will also focus on choosing suitable incisions and flap types for certain situations.
Time for questions and a discussion will be allotted after each of the talks.
